Project Overview

As tech industry professionals, we were aware of the fact that many companies and developers were not adequately addressing the needs of individuals with autism. Despite the growing prevalence of autism and the potential benefits of technology for this community, few tech products were specifically designed to meet the unique challenges and needs of individuals with autism.

To address this issue, we decided to reach out to LAS, a leading organization that supports individuals with autism and their families. We wanted to learn more about the specific challenges and needs of this community and to see if there was an opportunity to develop a technology solution that could help.

After conducting research and speaking with LAS, we identified a key need for a communication app that could help individuals with autism communicate with their loved ones without the need for speech. We decided to develop such an app, which eventually became known as Tapplain.

Tapplain is designed to be fully customizable, allowing users to tailor the app to their specific needs and preferences. It is also available on both iOS and Android and is responsive across all devices, ensuring that it can be used on a wide range of devices and screen sizes. In addition, Tapplain’s cross-platform capabilities make it easy to release on other platforms in the future.

Overall, Tapplain is a groundbreaking app that addresses a critical need for individuals with autism and their families and represents a step forward in the tech industry’s efforts to support this community.
